We do not have a verified network of therapists, doctors, or caregivers yet. That takes real vetting of real people, and we are not going to fake it. What we can do right now is help you know what to look for and how to find someone good, wherever you live.
In the US, check licensing boards by state. Directories like Psychology Today and TherapyDen let you filter by credential and specialty.
In the US, check your state medical board’s license lookup. Most countries have an equivalent public register. Search "[your country] doctor license lookup."
Background-check norms vary by country. In the US, look for services like Sittercity or Care.com’s screening. Search "[your country] child care background check" for the real local process.
In the US, home-care agencies are licensed by state. Check your state health department’s registry. Search "[your country] home care licensing" for the real local process.
Search "[your country] home services background check". Many countries have a licensing or registration system for trade and home-help services.
Peer-support training programs exist in most countries. Search "[your country] peer support training" if you want to become one, or to understand what training a listener should have.
Established volunteering platforms (in the US, VolunteerMatch) vet the organizations that list opportunities, which is a useful extra layer of scrutiny.
No professionals are listed yet. We could have filled this page with placeholder profiles. We would rather show you nothing than show you someone who does not exist.
Phase 2 of Health and Kind is a real, verified network of helpers: people who have actually been checked, not placeholders. We are working toward it. Until it exists, we will not claim it does. If you are a doctor, therapist, nanny, caregiver, or listener who wants to be among the first verified when it launches, we would like to hear from you.
